The Lancaster Bible College field hockey team lost its final road game of the season on Thursday, falling 8-0 to Keuka in Keuka Park, N.Y. The loss drops the Chargers to 0-11 this season, and 0-3 in North Eastern Athletic Conference play, while the Wolves improved to 5-9 overall and 3-0 in conference action.

Game Recap: Keuka held much of the possession in the opening 15 minutes of the game, but the Lancaster Bible defense held strong, led by goalie
Anne VanBuskirk who made four early saves to keep the game scoreless.

The Wolves finally got on the board at 15:37, as Rielly Albee scored her first goal of the season to give Keuka 1-0 lead. The Chargers defense continued to play well, and the score remained the same for the next 17 minutes, before the Wolves scored twice in the final 2:35 of the half to take a 3-0 lead into the break.

Keuka's Alyssa Orsino completed the hat trick at 42:11, and Keuka continued to pummel the Lancaster Bible side of the field, and scored four more times over the final 27 minutes to produce the 8-0 final score.

By the Numbers: Keuka outshot the Chargers, 25-0, including 18-0 in shots on goal…The Wolves also held a 27-0 advantage in penalty corners…VanBuskirk finished with 10 saves for the Chargers.

Information Hodge Podge: This was the first-ever meeting between the two schools…Lancaster Bible finishes the year with an 0-7 record in road games…Thursday also marked the final conference game of the season for the Chargers, as they finished 0-3 in NEAC play…Thursday marked the fourth straight game the Chargers have failed to record a shot…VanBuskirk recorded double-digit saves for the fourth time this season, and it was also the third straight game she has had 10 or more saves.
