Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 | Box Score 3 | Box Score 4 The Lancaster Bible College softball team opened its spring break trip in Clermont, Florida with four straight losses on Saturday and Sunday, as the Chargers fell to 2-6 this season. After having Monday off, the Chargers will resume their trip with two games on Tuesday and two games on Wednesday.

North Central (Minn.) 7, Lancaster Bible 3
Game Notes: Lancaster Bible got hits in the first and second innings, but couldn't bring the runner around to score...In the third inning however, Zoie Senn singled, stole second base and advanced to third on a wild pitch, before Nicole DeKok drove her in with an RBI single...Both DeKok, and Katie Kleinhans, who had reached on a fielder's choice earlier in the inning, scored later in the inning to give Lancaster Bible a 3-0 lead...North Central tied the game in the fourth inning with three runs of its own, and then took the lead in the fifth, 4-3...North Central tacked on three more runs in the sixth inning to make it 7-3, though Lancaster Bible did put two runners on in the bottom of the seventh, but couldn't put a dent into the North Central lead.

By the Numbers: Senn and DeKok each went 2-for-3 with a run scored, while DeKok also drove in a run...Rheeana Miles had the only other Lancaster Bible hit...Martina McCauley pitched the first four innings, allowing two hits and three runs, none of which were earned...Lancaster Bible hitters struck out 10 times...This was the first-ever meeting between the teams.


Olivet 16, Lancaster Bible 5 (5 innings)
Game Notes: Olivet scored in four of the five innings, and led 14-0 after three innings...The Comets had 21 hits, and led 16-0, before the Chargers scored five times in the bottom of the fifth...In the fifth inning, Lancaster Bible got RBI hits from Morgan Burkholder, Miles and McCauley.

By the Numbers: Lancaster Bible had just four hits, though Chargers' hitters drew five walks as well...In addition to the hits from Burkholder, Miles and McCauley, Senn had the other Lancaster Bible hit, while Kleinhans scored a run and drove in a run...The Chargers are now 0-2 all-time against Olivet.

Game Notes: Lancaster Bible managed just two hits in the game, as Ripon scored in the first, third, fifth and sixth innings...Kleinhans and DeKok had the Lancaster Bible hits...DeKok also pitched well for the Chargers, as she scattered six hits, allowed three earned runs and struck out four.

By the Numbers: DeKok's hit was a double, her first of the season...The Chargers struck out just twice, but flew out 10 times...Senn drew two of the five Lancaster Bible walks as well...This was the first-ever meeting between the teams.
