The Lancaster Bible College women's tennis team dropped its second straight match on Tuesday, falling to Delaware Valley, 6-2 in Doylestown, Pa. The Chargers are now 1-2 this season, while the Aggies improved to 4-7.

Greta Strunk and Michaela Dearborn won for the second time this season at flight one doubles, as they defeated Natalie Hoffman and Tess Hansler, 8-5. The Chargers lost the other two doubles matches, as the flight two team of Lynndath Thelemaque and Sarah Wetzel lost a heartbreaker, 9-8 (7-5), while Haylee Fishel and Kylee McGuinness lost, 8-0.

Strunk rebounded from her first singles loss of the season on Monday, by defeating Hoffman, 6-3, 6-1. Dearborn dropped her flight two singles match, 6-1, 6-2, while Thelemaque's match did not finish before darkness set in, as she was trailing, 7-5 in pro-set played to eight. Wetzel lost her flight four singles match, 6-0, 6-0, while Fishel lost, 6-1, 6-1 at number five singles.

Lancaster Bible returns to the court on Friday when the Chargers will host Trinity (D.C.) for a rare tennis doubleheader. The two teams will play two separate matches against one another beginning at 1 p.m. at Hempfield Rec Center in Landisville, Pa.
