The Lancaster Bible College field hockey team ran into a buzzsaw on Thursday afternoon in Scranton, Pa., as the Chargers lost to
Marywood, 12-0. The loss drops the Chargers to 0-5 overall, while the Pacers improved to 5-2.
Game Recap: Marywood scored just 42 seconds into the game, and doubled its lead at 2:08, as Jenna Dickey scored off a rebound. Dickey scored again 48 seconds later, completing the hat trick just 2:56 into the contest.
The Pacers would lead 7-0 at the 19:42 mark, and took an 11-0 advantage lead into halftime.
Marywood capped the scoring at 50:23, as Lindsey Gladden scored her first goal of the year to produce the final score, 12-0.

Information Hodge Podge: Thursday was the first-ever meeting between the two schools…The Chargers have been shut out three times this season…The three defensive saves were a season-high for Lancaster Bible.
