Box Score The Lancaster Bible College men's soccer team ran its unbeaten streak to six games on Saturday, as the Chargers defeated Wells, 2-1 in overtime in Aurora, N.Y. The Chargers improved to 9-2-1 overall this season, and 4-1-1 in North Eastern Athletic Conference play, while the Express dropped to 4-9 overall and 1-5 in conference action.

How it Happened: Lancaster Bible had three early shots over the first 10 minutes of the game, though each was saved by Wells, one by a defender, and two by goalkeeper Colton Jaquith. The Express responded with three straight shots, the last of which was saved by Lancaster Bible goalkeeper
Jake Deterline, and the Chargers began taking over much of the play from that time.

The Chargers had three corner kicks over a four-minute span midway through the first half, but couldn't convert, and the teams eventually went to halftime scoreless.

Lancaster Bible had all of the chances early in the second half, as the Chargers put five shots towards the goal, but forced Jaquith to make just one save.

Lancaster Bible finally got on the board at 68:18, as
Rama Mugisha took a pass from
Trey Baughman at the top of the box, spun to his right and left-footed the ball into the back of the net.

The Chargers stayed in control until 84:55, when Wells tied the game on a goal by Mekhi Edge-Wallace. The Chargers had a late shot by
Chad Tolson, and two corner kicks in the final two minutes, but couldn't convert, and the game went to overtime.

Wells had an early chance in the overtime period, but Deterline was up to the task, and kept the game at 1-1. With under 10 seconds to play in overtime, Lancaster Bible's
Kedric Yoder found
Estiven Saldarriaga who scored with one second remaining to give the Chargers the win.

Statistically Speaking: Lancaster Bible outshot the Express, 23-9, including 12-9 in shots on goal…The Chargers also led 10-2 in corner kicks…Deterline made two saves in the win, while Jaquith made nine saves…Yoder's assist gives him five for the season, and he is now tied for the team lead with Tolson.
The Coach Says: "We came out with a lot of energy and attacked pretty well all game," Lancaster Bible Head Coach
Tom Ardt said. "We had to be aware fo their counterattacks and until the end we dealt with that pretty securely. I thought it was a great job by the guys to find the game winner in overtime, and we are focused on better play in the box, and finishing the chances we create."
