The Lancaster Bible College women's volleyball team will be making its ninth straight appearance in the North Eastern Athletic Conference Playoffs on Tuesday night, but will be making history, as the Chargers host their first-ever NEAC Playoff event. The Chargers welcome Penn St. Berks to the Horst Athletic Center at 7 p.m., as the teams will look to advance to the NEAC Semifinals where top-seeded Morrisville State awaits.

The other NEAC Quarterfinal on Tuesday night features Gallaudet traveling to Penn St. Abington, and the winner of that match will take on second-seeded Penn St. Harrisburg on Saturday afternoon in Morrisville, N.Y. Saturday's NEAC Semifinal winners will meet in the NEAC Final on Sunday in Morrisville, N.Y., as the Mustangs are the host for the NEAC Final Four.

How They Got Here
Penn St. Berks: The Nittany Lions, along with Lancaster Bible, Gallaudet, and Wells, went 7-4 in NEAC play this season, and through conference tie-breakers ended up as the fifth seed…Penn St. Berks was 2-3 in its final five regular season matches…The Nittany Lions have been up-and-down for much of the season, though the team did win six of seven matches to begin the month of October.

Lancaster Bible: Like the Nittany Lions, it has been an up-and-down 2019 campaign for the Chargers…The team began the year, 0-4 and 2-6, but won 11 of 14 matches at the end of September and early October, eventually getting to 16-12, before ending the regular season with three straight losses…The Chargers were 2-3 in their final five matches.
