The Lancaster Bible College baseball team took part in its second day of games on Monday in Myrtle Beach, S.C. on Tuesday, and the Chargers earned a split of a doubleheader with Centenary. The Cyclones took game one, 5-2, while the Chargers earned a 4-0 victory in game two, as junior
Kyle Ebersole pitched a complete-game shutout. Lancaster Bible is now 1-2 overall this season, while Centenary stands at 3-4.

Game Notes:
-The Cyclones jumped on the board in the top of the first inning, as Ryan Jasiecki tripled home two runs
-Centenary tacked on another run in the second inning, and the Lancaster Bible offense was silent for much of the middle innings, before
Jake Hahn tripled in the fifth inning, but was stranded
-Lancaster Bible's deficit grew to 5-0 in the top half of the sixth inning, as Chris Gass singled home two runs
-The Chargers got two runs back in the bottom of the sixth when
Jacob Schenck singled home Luis Padilla Jr. and
Colin Myers
-Lancaster Bible couldn't trim the deficit any smaller in the final inning, and lost for the second straight time

Kyle Ebersole worked out of a jam in the bottom of the first, and was dominant in the middle innings, as the Chargers led, 1-0 after four innings of play

Colin Myers singled to lead off the top half of the fifth, Padilla doubled him home to make it 2-0, and Welsh followed with a double of his own that scored Padilla, and increased the lead to 3-0

Beau Heagy singled later in the inning to score Welsh, and the Chargers took a four-run lead
-Centenary put two runners on base in both the fifth and seventh innings, but Ebersole eluded trouble both times, and struck out Cole Fratesi to end the game, and preserve the shutout
