The Lancaster Bible College baseball team won its second straight game on Tuesday in Myrtle Beach, S.C., as the Chargers defeated Clarks Summit, 13-9. Lancaster Bible is now 2-2 overall, while the Defenders dropped to 0-5.

-The Chargers got on the board early, as they exploded for seven runs in the bottom of the first inning

Jacob Alvarez singled home Welsh two batters later

Jake Hahn singled home Alvarez to make it 5-0, and Saufley's double rounded out the scoring in the first, as he knocked in Hahn and

-After two scoreless innings, Clarks Summit got on the board in the fourth inning, as Lancaster Bible starter
Adam Cohick worked out of a jam, and continued to pitch well
-The Defenders got another run in the fifth, but Lancaster Bible responded in the bottom half of the inning, as Hahn doubled, and drove in Alvarez and
Jacob Schenck
-Harkey drove in a run later in the inning, and Saufley ended the four-run inning by tripling home Hahn to give Lancaster Bible an 11-2 advantage
-The Chargers led 13-3 heading into the top of the ninth, but Clarks Summit's bats finally woke up, and the Defenders scored six times, and closed the gap to 13-9, before
Jacob Stong ended the threat and got the final out on a groundout.

-Schenck finished 4-for-5 with three runs, while Alvarez was 3-for-3 with a walk, two runs scored and two runs batted in
