The Lancaster Bible College baseball team faced another strong opponent in Myrtle Beach, S.C. on Thursday, and for the second straight day, the Chargers battled, but ultimately couldn't keep pace, and lost to Stockton University, 14-1. The Chargers are now 2-4 overall this season, while the Ospreys stayed perfect in the young season, and improved to 9-0.

Game Notes:
-Stockton opened the scoring in the top of the second, but Lancaster Bible responded in the bottom half of the inning, as
Adam Cohick singled home
Will Welsh who had walked earlier in the inning
-The Ospreys came right back in the top of the third and scored four runs on four hits and an error, though Lancaster Bible starter
Trevor High did work out of a jam, and induced a groundout to leave the bases loaded
-Stockton scored four more times on four more hits in the fourth inning, and then tacked on five more runs in the fifth inning to take a 14-1 lead
-Lancaster Bible had just two hits after the second inning
-This was the first-ever meeting between the two schools

-Welsh finished 1-for-2 with a walk and a run scored
-Schenck was 1-for-4, while
Jacob Alvarez and Cohick had the other Lancaster Bible hits
-High pitched four innings, and gave up 10 hits and nine earned runs, while striking out two
