Box Score The Lancaster Bible College women's tennis team dropped its second straight match on Saturday, as the Chargers lost to Delaware Valley, 6-3 at Hempfield Rec Center in Landisville, Pa. Lancaster Bible is now 0-2 this season, while Delaware Valley improved to 2-1.

The Aggies took two of the three doubles matches, as the top team of Allie Vaccaro and Aubrey Erickson won a close match over Lancaster Bible's number one team of
Greta Strunk and
Michaela Dearborn, 8-6. The Chargers' number two team of
Haylee Fishel and
Kayla Hubbard picked up an 8-5 win over Chloe Dennerlein and Erin Volov, and Lancaster Bible's number three team of
Sarah Wetzel and
Kenedi Berkhimer dropped an 8-2 decision.

In singles play, Strunk defeated Vaccaro, 6-3, 6-3 at number one singles, while Erickson earned a 6-0, 6-3 victory over Dearborn at number two singles. Fishel lost to Dennerlein, 6-2, 6-4 at number three singles, while Hubbard picked up her first career singles win at number four, with a 6-4, 6-0 victory over Volov. Wetzel played well at number five singles, but ultimately lost to Miller Huertgen, 6-2, 6-3, and Berkhimer played tough at number six, but lost in three sets to Nicki Fox, 6-4, 0-6, 6-3.

Lancaster Bible is now 0-2 all-time against Delaware Valley, and is back on the court on Tuesday at 3 p.m., as the Chargers host Trinity (D.C.) at Hempfield Rec Center.
