Box Score The Lancaster Bible College women's tennis team won its first match of the season on Tuesday, as the Chargers defeated Trinity (D.C.), 6-3 at the Hempfield Rec Center in Landisville, Pa. Lancaster Bible is now 1-2 this season, while Trinity dropped to 0-8.
 
The Chargers played with just four players on Tuesday, and thus had to forfeit their number three singles match. That was the lone loss in doubles action, as the top team of 
Greta Strunk and 
Michaela Dearborn defeated Sofia Ocampo and Ingrid Islas, 8-1. The number two doubles team of 
Haylee Fishel and 
Kayla Hubbard were also victorious, as they defeated Fozia Jafar and Zakiyyah Jones, 8-0.
 
Lancaster Bible continued to dominate in singles action, as the undermanned Chargers won all four of the singles matches they competed in. Strunk defeated Ocampo, 6-0, 6-0 at the top spot, while Dearborn won her first singles match of the season with a 6-2, 6-0 victory at number two singles. Fishel and Hubbard both won, 6-0, 6-0, as the Chargers improved to 10-1 all-time against Trinity.
 
Lancaster Bible is back on the court next Wednesday, March 27, as the Chargers face Lycoming at 3 p.m. in Williamsport, Pa.
