The Lancaster Bible College men's tennis team earned an impressive, 5-4 victory over Penn College on Friday night, as the Chargers won a marathon match that lasted over four hours, and improved to 3-1 overall and 1-0 in conference play. The Wildcats fell to 2-3 overall and 0-1 in North Eastern Athletic Conference play with the loss.

How it Happened: Lancaster Bible won two of the three doubles matches on Friday, as the top team of
Luke Newberry and
Keven Vallette earned an 8-6 win over Luke Whitenight and Blake Whitmire.
Tyler Norris and
Ming Bowser lost, 8-4 at number two singles, while
Yancy Butler and
Derice Butler won, 8-5 at number three doubles.

Newberry cruised at number one singles with a 6-0, 6-1 victory, while Norris dropped a 6-2, 6-3 decision at number two singles.
Yancy Butler lost, 6-0, 6-2 at number three singles, but Bowser earned another three-set victory at number four singles, as he won, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4. Vallette was victorious, 6-4, 6-4 at number five singles, while
Derice Butler lost in three sets at flight six singles, 0-6, 6-2, 6-0.
