The Lancaster Bible College men's tennis team won its fourth straight match on Tuesday, setting a new program record for consecutive wins, as the Chargers crushed Rosemont, 9-0 at Hempfield Rec Center in Landisville, Pa. Lancaster Bible is now 4-1 overall this season, while the Ravens fell to 0-6.

How it Happened: Lancaster Bible started strong on Tuesday, taking all three doubles matches, as the top team of
Luke Newberry and Keven Vallete won, 8-0, as did the No. 3 team of
Yancy Butler and
Derice Butler. The No. 2 team of
Ming Bowser and
Tyler Norris defeated Josh Dawicki and Chris Briner, 8-1.

Newberry, named NEAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week earlier in the day, continued his strong play with a 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 1 singles. Norris picked up his first-ever collegiate singles victory at No. 2, as he defeated Tim Reiners, 6-0, 6-1. Bowser took home a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 3 singles, as did
Keven Vallette at No. 4 singles.
James Hutchinson earned a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 5 singles, and
Chase Evans earned a 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 6 singles.
