The Lancaster Bible College men's tennis team won its third straight match on Tuesday, and capped a perfect season at home, as the Chargers defeated Bryn Athyn, 8-1 at Hempfield Rec Center in Landisville, Pa. Lancaster Bible is now 8-2 overall, while the Lions dropped to 4-6.

How it Happened: The Chargers rolled through doubles action, dropping just two games in the three matches, as the No. 1 team of
Luke Newberry and
Keven Vallette won, 8-0, as did the No. 3 team of
Derice Butler and
James Hutchinson. The No. 2 doubles team of
Tyler Norris and
Ming Bowser also won easily, as they defeated Tanner Schroeder and Isaac Anderson, 8-2.

Newberry posted a 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 1 singles, while Norris picked up his second singles win of the year with a 6-2, 6-1 victory at No. 2 singles. Bowser was victorious on Senior Day with a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 3 singles, while Butler won, 6-4, 6-1 at No. 4 singles.Â
Chase Evans dropped a tough match at No. 5 singles, as he lost, 4-6, 6-3, 10-8. Hutchinson, along with his fellow seniors (Newberry, Bowser and Butler), won his singles match at No. 6, as he defeated Max Nelson, 6-1, 6-1.
