The Lancaster Bible College baseball team played its final home non-conference game of the season on Wednesday, and lost to Washington (Md.), 20-3 at Charger Field. Lancaster Bible is now 8-17 overall this season, while the Shoremen improved to 25-12. Wednesday marked the second time this season the Chargers have lost to Washington (Md.), as the Shoremen won, 6-2 in Chestertown, Md. on March 19.

How it Happened: Washington (Md.) scored twice in the first inning, and tacked on four more runs in the second inning, as both Dylan Nepert and Aaron Barclay homered in the inning.

The floodgates opened in the third inning, as the Shoremen scored five more times, as CJ Gillmer and Aaron Barclay each had two-run hits. After the Shoremen scored three more times in the fourth inning, Lancaster Bible finally got on the scoreboard, as freshman
Jaden Pinkney hit a two-run home run that scored
Jacob Alvarez.

Joe Curtin hit a grand slam in the sixth for Washington (Md.), and
Jacob Schenck singled to center in the seventh inning to score
Josh Saufley and cap the scoring for the Chargers.
