The Lancaster Bible College women's basketball team returns to the North Eastern Athletic Conference postseason after a year away, and the Chargers will battle Morrisville State on Saturday afternoon in Utica, N.Y. Lancaster Bible won the NEAC South Division for the seventh time in program history this season, while Morrisville State finished second in the NEAC North Division.

SUNY Poly will serve as the host the NEAC Final Four this weekend, and the host Wildcats will take on Penn St. Berks in the other NEAC Semifinal on Saturday.

Dec. 7, 2019: Lancaster Bible led very early in the contest, but Morrisville State closed the first quarter on a 19-4 run, and led 23-10 after 10 minutes of play…The Mustangs then scored the first 13 points of the second quarter, and led 36-10 midway through the second frame…The Chargers trailed by 20 points at halftime, and the host Mustangs extended it to 38 points at one point in the fourth quarter.

Morrisville State: Morrisville State squeaked by SUNY Cobleskill, 79-78 on Tuesday night in the NEAC Quarterfinals, as the Mustangs nearly coughed up a 13-point fourth-quarter lead…Alexis Campbell led Morrisville State with 24 points, while Brooke Hammersley came off the bench to score 19 points in 24 minutes…Tori Rockefeller added 18 points for the Mustangs.

Lancaster Bible: The Chargers won the NEAC South Division by going 7-3 in division play, and 10-6 overall in NEAC action…This is the first time the Chargers have reached the NEAC Semifinals since the 2016-17 season.
