How It Happened
The Lancaster Bible College men's soccer team fell to #25 Penn St. Harrisburg in a United East matchup by a score of 3-0 on Wednesday, October 20.
 
The Chargers' offense controlled possession early in the first half, earing three corner kicks in the first ten minutes. Off the third corner kick, Chad Tolson and Jackson Shreiner each fired a shot, but neither could find the back of the net. Penn St. Harrisburg would battle back, controlling game play for the remainder of the half. LBC's defense was up for the challenge, denying several scoring chances to keep the game scoreless going into the half.
 
Penn St. Harrisburg would score in the 51st minute to take a 1-0 lead. Nathan Muckle tried to level the game, firing a shot off a free kick that missed wide of the net. Harrisburg capitalized on a penalty kick opportunity to extend their advantage to 2-0. LBC could not find an answer, eventually falling 3-0.
