How It Happened
The Lancaster Bible women's volleyball team picked up a critical United East win, sweeping Penn College in straight sets on Saturday, October 23 at Penn State Harrisburg.
 
The Chargers jumped out to an 8-2 lead powered by kills from Faith Hammond and Morgan Fenstermacher. LBC would slam down 12 kills in the set, hitting an impressive .458. The Chargers won the final five points of the opening set, capped off by a Fait Hammond kill.
 
LBC once again started strong in the second set, opening on a 6-1 run. The Chargers would maintain that lead closing the set on a four-point run, taking the set 25-11. LBC got rolling in the third set, going on a 12-0 run to take a commanding 16-5. The Red & Black won the final six points with Raylee Feather slamming down the final point.

- Kate Stoltzfus led the offense with 12 kills
- Faith Hammond picked up nine kills
- Morgan Fenstermacher added eight kills
- Faith Helman passed out 15 assists
- Suzanna Rouse anchored the defense making eight digs
