The Lancaster Bible College men's tennis team finished off a perfect North Eastern Athletic Conference record on Thursday, as the Chargers defeated Penn St. Abington, 7-2 in Abington, Pa. The win is the sixth straight for the Chargers, which is a new program record, and Lancaster Bible ends the regular season with an 8-1 overall record and 4-0 mark in NEAC play.

Lancaster Bible is the top seed in next week's NEAC Playoffs, and will host either No. 4 Penn College or No. 5 Penn St. Abington in the NEAC Semifinals next Tuesday at Hempfield Rec Center. The Wildcats and Nittany Lions will play on Saturday to determine who faces the Chargers.

Doubles: Lancaster Bible swept doubles play on Wednesday, as the No. 1 team of
Devon Clemmer and
Tyler Norris won, 8-4, and
Malachi Bomgardner and
AJ Kwiatkowski earned an 8-2 victory at No. 2 doubles. Penn St. Abington only played with four players on Wednesday, so the Chargers earned a forfeit victory at No. 3 doubles.

Singles: Clemmer and Penn St. Abington No. 1 player Adrian Condes played a great match at No. 1 singles, as Condes came out on top in three sets with a 2-6, 7-5, 10-8 victory. Norris lost in three sets as well at No. 2 singles, as he fell to Dhruv Shahane, 5-7, 6-2, 10-5.

Micah Weaver, playing at No. 3 singles on Wednesday, earned a three-set win for the Chargers, as he dropped the first set, but won the final two for a 1-6, 6-3, 10-7 victory. Senior
Keven Vallette cruised at No. 4 singles with a 6-2, 6-1 win over Kaushik Karri. Bomgardner and Kwiatkowski earned forfeit wins at No. 5 and No. 6 singles.
