How It HappenedÂ
The Lancaster Bible Men's Soccer team capitalized on a second half goal from Chad Tolson to knock off Lycoming by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday, September 15.

Clark Shreiner launched the Chargers first shot of the game in the 29th minute, missing high. LBC's other offensive opportunity came in the final minutes of the half when Kyle Hughes fired a shot toward the middle of the goal, but the Warriors goalkeeper made the save to keep the game scoreless heading into the half.
The Chargers would get on the board early in the second half. LBC earned a free kick on the edge of the 18-yard box. Chad Tolson stepped up to take the free kick, and he capitalized on the Warriors goalkeeper cheating toward the far post, bending the ball inside the near post to give the Chargers a 1-0 lead. Now trailing, Lycoming sent numbers forward, controlling possession and creating several scoring opportunities. The Chargers defense meet the challenge, fending off each attack preserving the lead. Goalkeeper Isaac Barrow made four huge saves and constantly set the defense in a position to be successful. Lancaster Bible would hold on to the lead, securing the 1-0 victory.
