Coaching Points
"Very proud of our team for finishing the week strong. This was a pivotal conference week on the road and I thought our kids found a way to win in each of the 3 games," said head coach
Jon Mack. "I thought today we battled fatigued against a good and quick Wells team. We struggled to convert on the free line and around the rim at times. I thought
Seth Beers had an amazing scoring stretch at the end first half that allowed us to regain control of the game. In the second half,
Adam Stoltzfus carried us in the paint. I thought he had an amazing stretch that led to us securing the game. I thought we did make things more challenging on ourselves by missing 17 free throws and making poor timely turnovers down the stretch. We need to improve our end of the game situations which falls back on me. We look forward to improving as we approach the last and most important stretch of our season."
