Tyshaun Pulley connecting on a jump shot from the top of the key to make the score 40-14. Gallaudet (2-16 Overall, 2-9 United East) tried to battle back, going on a 10-2 run to cut into the deficit. Pulley ended the run by swishing a 3-pointer to give the Chargers a 45-24 lead at the half.

Shewbridge got the second half off to a good start, knocking down a 3-pointer on the opening possession. After the Bison shortened the lead to 20 points, a pair of free throws by Hilton and a layup by Beers put the Chargers back up 52-28. Hilton and Shewbridge followed up with a wide open 3-pointer from the corner and a tough three-point play to extend the lead to 26 points. Beers kept the offense rolling, knocking down back-to-back 3-pointers to push the advantage to 30. Zentner then caught fire, bullying his way to a pair of layups and then draining a long jump shot to make the score 79-44. Coaching Points
"I was very pleased with our defensive effort and unselfishness tonight," said head coach
Jon Mack. "Our ability to convert on 37 field goals from 20 assists reflects our ball and body movement tonight. I thought we did a great job converting 46 points off 43 defensive stops which is the pipeline to our offense. I wasn't pleased with our turnovers and offensive rebounds we gave up tonight. We must be better in these controllable categories if we want to be special. I look forward to our guys responding better in these categories moving forward. All in all, it was a good team win with many players contributing, including
Andrew Zentner who made his return tonight. It was a great sight to see him competing again. He is such a great person and teammate. We are so happy for him!"
