The Lancaster Bible field hockey team extended their winning streak to three games Saturday night with a 5-0 victory over the Wells College Express. The win comes on a special night for the Chargers as they were able to dedicate and donate the proceeds of the contest to Abbie Keath, a Chargers players' friend and student at Lebanon Valley College, who has been battling Hodgkin's Lymphoma. The Chargers move to 3-6 overall on the year.
Â
How It Happened: The Chargers would start the game sending a total of seven shots and three penalty corners. Eight minutes into the first period, sophomore midfielder

Â
From the Coach: "Overall we had a good performance tonight. We had some really nice passing combinations that lead to good scoring opportunities. I think the 1v1 competition at halftime gave them a little spark. We will come back on Monday and work on getting prepared for a stretch of away games with tough competition. We want to thank everyone that came out to support our Play for a Cure and Abbie Keath. Keep fighting Abbie!" –
Head Coach Becky Elliott
