How It Happened
The Lancaster Bible College men's tennis team continued building momentum, taking down Eastern University by a score of 8-1 on Thursday, March 24.
 
Singles
- Devon Clemmer responded after dropping the second set of his #1 singles match, winning the third set in dominate fashion to secure a team point
- Micah Weaver won the opening set of the #2 singles match, but could not hold on, falling in three sets
- In the #3 singles match, Malachi Bomgardner won a closely contested first set, powering to a 7-6, 6-2 victory
- Josh Jarvis controlled the #4 singles match, picking up a 6-2, 6-4 win
- AJ Kwiatkowski won the #5 singles match by a score of 6-2, 6-1
- The Chargers closed out the singles matches with Devyn Kintzer rolling to a 6-0, 6-0 victory

Doubles
- Devon Clemmer and Josh Jarvis teamed to win the #1 doubles match by a score of 8-3
- In the #2 doubles match, Micah Weaver and Malachi Bomgardner rolled to an 8-3 victory
- The team of AJ Kwiatkowski and Devyn Kintzer won the #3 doubles match, powering to an 8-4 victory

Coaching Points
"It was great to see our guys compete today and work through some adversity," said head coach Rod Baughman. "We trailed in all of our early singles matches, but it was great opportunity for growth. I grateful for this team!"

Who's Next
The men's tennis team will take on their NCAA opponent from last season, facing Drew University at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 26.
