The Lancaster Bible men's tennis team got back on track, taking down Lycoming College by a score of 8-1 on Tuesday, March 29.
Singles

Devon Clemmer opened singles play by rolling to a 6-4, 6-3 win in the #1 singles match

Micah Weaver rolled to a 6-0, 6-4 victory in the #2 singles match
- In the #3 singles match,
Malachi Bomgardner fended off an early charge, winning the match 6-4, 6-1

Josh Jarvis recovered after dropping the second set in the #4 singles match, winning the tiebreaker set 10-6

AJ Kwiatkowski won the second set in the #5 singles match, put could not complete the rally, eventually falling in the third set

Devyn Kintzer closed out the match by winning the #6 singles match 6-3, 6-3
Doubles
- The team of
Devon Clemmer and
Josh Jarvis opened doubles play by picking up a win in the #1 doubles match
- In the #2 doubles match,
Micah Weaver and
Malachi Bomgardner powered to an 8-3 victory
- In the final doubles match,
AJ Kwiatkowski and
Devyn Kintzer picked up an 8-3 win, sweeping doubles play for the Chargers
Coaching Points
"It was great to get out and sweep the doubles," said head coach
Rod Baughman. "There were several competitive singles matches. Loved the resolve of
Josh Jarvis at 4 and Malachi played a great match at 3 having to figure out ways to creatively win points."
