The Lancaster Bible College women's tennis team lost to Penn St. Harrisburg in the United East Semifinals by a score of 5-2 on Friday, April 29.
Singles

Cara DiCiano played her most competitive match of the season in the #1 spot. She won the first set 6-3, then dropped the second set 6-2, heading to a third set tiebreak. In the third set, DiCiano fell 6-3.

Kenedi Berkhimer put up a fight, but fell in straight sets by a score of 6-2, 6-0.

Madi Strickler competed well in the #3 singles match, ultimately dropping the match by a score of 6-4, 6-3.

Kyrstin Jarvis picked up the lone singles victory for the Chargers, sweeping her Lions opponent in straight sets.

Doubles
- In the #1 doubles match,
Cara DiCiano and
Kenedi Berkhimer could not gain the edge, dropping the match by a score of 8-4.

Madi Strickler and
Chloe Campbell fell in the #2 doubles match 8-1.
- In the final doubles match, the pair of
Camryn Burkholder and
Kyrstin Jarvis picked up an 8-2 victory.

"Our girls battled tonight! I couldn't have asked for any more," said head coach
Rod Baughman. "We will miss Kenedi and Chloe greatly next year but they finished well! Kenedi has driven our culture for four years! She has left a legacy and we are grateful that because of her, tradition will not graduate with her!"
