How It Happened: The Chargers were first to place a point on the scoreboard as junior
Alyssa Hamilton scored at the 23:39 minute mark. The Chargers continued to hold the Knights scoreless through three quarters despite a barrage of 11 shots on goal, much to credit of Chargers goalie

Alyssa Hamilton.

The Knights responded in the fourth quarter at the 54
th minute sending the game into overtime. The Knights would then follow their fourth quarter goal with a game finisher 1:11 into overtime.
Â
From the Coach: "Great start to the season. Losing in OT is a win for this team at this point in the program. We had some moments of catching our breath, which put us on our heels, but our defense, especially Alyssa and Hoover, kept us in the game. We can take a lot of positives moving forward."
Â
