The Chargers kicked off their Homecoming week falling to the Lycoming College Warriors 2-0 on Wednesday night. The loss moves the Chargers to 0-6 overall and Lycoming moves to 2-5 on the year.

How It Happened: The game would start with a fury of offensive attacks from the Chargers including three corners and two shots. Despite the offensive push from Lancaster Bible, Lycoming would be the first to find the board with a goal just about six minutes into the game. With a deficit of one, the Chargers would continue to make runs including a shot from
Hannah Hoffman but come up short ending the first period down 1-0.

Lycoming would control the second period sending five shots on goal, but they would all be deterred as two shots were blocked and goalie
Amanda Hoover recorded two saves. Lycoming would find the board again in the beginning of the second period, putting the Warriors up 2-0. LBC would make another push on a shot from
Molly Gray but would come up short.

Despite the efforts of both teams to put the ball in the cage, the fourth period would remain scoreless ending the game with a 2-0 result in favor of the Warriors.

From the Coach: "It wasn't our night. Give Lycoming credit for playing hard the entire game. Tomorrow is a new day. We will learn from this, rebound, and work hard the next two days to prepare for Saturday." –

By the Numbers: Lycoming would record 14 shots for the game while the Chargers recorded five… Lancaster Bible added seven saves for the game and Lycoming had four… Lycoming created 10 corners while LBC had three.
