Box Score 2 The Lancaster Bible men's and women's tennis teams kicked off their 2022 fall season at home against the Albright College Lions. The men's team would pick up a solid 6-3 win while the women would fall by the same score of 6-3.

The Chargers would pick up four individual wins from key returners including
Devon Clemmer,
Micah Weaver,
Malachi Bomgardner, and
AJ Kwiatkowski.
Devon Clemmer would win both of his one seed games 6-3 winning the first set of the day.
Micah Weaver wouldn't leave any question either, winning his 6-3 and 6-1.
Malachi Bomgardner and
AJ Kwiatkowski would also follow up the one and two spot leads with wins of their own.
Caleb Cavaiani and
Hemberth Pena would both battle hard but fall to their opponents. The Chargers would win the individual battle 4-2.

The Charger men would follow up the individual win, with a decisive 2-1 victory in doubles.
Devon Clemmer and
Micah Weaver led off the doubles with a key 8-0 win over their number one. Bomgardner and Kwiatkowski would follow it up with an 8-4 win of their own. Cavaiani and Pena would fall 8-2 in their set. The Chargers would close out the match with a 6-3 victory over the Lions.

Loss, 6 – 3

The Chargers would split in its individual sets with the Lions.
Sarah Steckbeck and
Sierra Hartman would fall at the one and two spot.
Alycia Eglauer would win the first set for the Chargers with a 6-4 and 6-3 win.
Jania Weist would follow it up with an individual win herself tallying 6-2 and 6-3 game wins. Cam Burkholder would lose at the five spot, and freshman
Emma Teague would even out the individual record with a win of her own (6-4, 0-6, 10-7).

The Lions would blank the Chargers at the double sets winning all three with competitive scores of 8-2, 8-5, and 8-4. After sweeping the double competition, the Chargers would fall to the Lions 6-3 for the match.

Coach Baughman was pleased with the performance from both sides of the program as he remarked "the night will certainly be something we will grow from".

th for a dual match against Immaculata University here in Lancaster, Pa.
