The Lancaster Bible women's volleyball team looked to bounce back from a tough weekend as they traveled to Carlisle, Pa. to take on another non-conference foe in the Red Devils of Dickinson College on Tuesday night. Â
The second set would end up being much of the same of the first set, but this time it was Dickinson jumping to an early lead and Lancaster Bible keeping right on their toes. The Dickinson lead would not reach more than five points, but despite several rallies from the Chargers, the Red Devils would escape with 25-22 win.
Â
The Chargers would continue to battle in the third set as the score would be tied a total of seven times before Dickinson made a strong push, extending the lead and wining the third and final set 25-19.
Â
From the Coach: "I thought the girls put out their best efforts against a competitive team. We had a few too many serving errors but still aimed to serve aggressive. Defensively, we were gritty and getting balls up and our hitters were being mindful and smart at the net. Overall, I was pleased with how we played tonight." -
Asst. Coach Kaitlyn Yates
