The Lancaster Bible College baseball team traveled back to Harrisburg, Pa. to finish their three-game series with the Lions, losing both 2-11 and 0-11. The Chargers drop to 2-11 overall and 0-3 in conference while the Lions improve to 10-5 overall and 3-0 in conference.

How It Happened: The Lions were the first to put runs on the board, scoring two in the bottom of the first inning. The Chargers were able to score a run in the second inning to bring the deficit to within one when junior
Adam Naylor stole home.

Entering the bottom of the second, the Lions scored two more and continued to put runs on the board, entering the sixth inning with a 11-1 lead. In the top of the sixth inning, freshman
Dylan Witkowski homered to left field, ending the game 11-2.

By the Numbers: The Chargers had five hits, two runs, and one RBI… the Lions had 12 hits, 11 runs, and 10 RBIs… Witkowski had a home run…

Game Two: Chargers 0, Lions 11

How It Happened: Looking to bounce back and win their first conference game of the 2023 season, the Chargers weren't able to send any runners home, leaving a total of 11 on base. The Lions scored eight in the first inning and then finished with three more the rest of the game to give them an 11-0 win.

By the Numbers: The Chargers had seven hits and four errors… the Lions had 13 hits, 11 runs and 10 RBIs with two errors… Naylor had two hits for the Chargers… Greenly, Witkowski, Coburn, Toney, and McCormick all added a hit.
