How It Happened:Â The Chargers came out rolling to a 4-1 start in the first set behind a block from the duo of

The second set started off similarly to the first, and Lancaster Bible came out on a 5-1 run to start the set. Both teams battled it out as the Highlanders would not give up without a fight, but again the Chargers pulled away with a close 25-21 win in the second set.
Â
The third set was nothing short of a thriller from the very first service. The teams traded points back and forth until the score reached 7-7. Lancaster Bible tried to pull away with a 7-2 run behind two kills and a service ace from
Elijah Herb, but Cairn fought back with a 5-2 run of their own and brought the score back to 14-15. After more traded points, the teams finally faced off at 24-24, and the next team to gain a two-point lead would be crowned champion of the third set. After a few minutes of chaos, the Chargers were able to finish strong behind a late kill from Herb to seal the victory as they won the third and final set 32-30.
