Chargers Lose Another Close Contest, 6-8 to Delaware Valley
Â
The Chargers found themselves down early as the Aggies scored seven unanswered runs through five innings. It wasn't until the bottom of the fifth inning when

In his second year at the helm of the program, Head Coach John Clemens had this to say about the week… "I am grateful for the God given talent and heart of our ladies. Playing 8 games over 4 days takes a lot of stamina and grit and this team showed it. Coming home 4-4 from Myrtle, the record isn't the true story. Several games in the 4 loss category were very close and with a few breaks that went to the other team winning. Two of our games showed the teams mettle where we came back in the last inning with a large scoring rally, and nearly pulling each game to the win column. Overall our offense was outstanding, accumulating 93 hits in 8 games. I'm looking forward to seeing what this special team will do in the UE conference this season. I can't be more proud of these ladies."
