How It Happened: The Chargers gave up a run early as the Lions hit a solo home run in the bottom of the first inning to take the lead. The Chargers, however, held strong defensively, then got things going offensively when senior

The Lions proceeded to keep the bats hot, scoring 12 more unanswered runs to run to a 17-1 lead over the Chargers. Looking to get anything going, the Chargers scored in the top of the eighth when freshman
Dylan Witkowski reached on an error, scoring
Adam Naylor. The Lions scored two more in the eighth to end the game 20-2.
