The Lancaster Bible College Field Hockey team squared off against newfound United East Conference foe Penn St. Harrisburg at home on Tuesday afternoon losing 7-0. The Chargers fall to 2-12 overall and 0-3 in conference play while the Lions improve to 9-4 overall and 2-1 in conference.

How It Happened: The Chargers managed to hold the Lions to just one first half goal behind a strong defensive effort. The two teams fought for possession but neither were able to produce any strong offensive possessions despite the one goal from the Lions.

The second half proved otherwise as the Lions came out firing scoring their next two goals just under five minutes into the second half. With a 3-0 lead the Lions continued to pour it on offensively but were unable to get another in the third period. The fourth period featured four goals from the Lions as they went on to win 7-0.

By the Numbers: The Chargers were outshot 17-0… the Lions tallied six penalty corners… the Chargers had two saves for the game… Natalie Rocuskie scored three goals for the Lions.
