The Lancaster Bible College Field Hockey team hosted NCAA Division II Roberts Wesleyan on Monday afternoon for a non-conference game with the Redhawks losing 5-0. The Chargers fall to 2-14 overall while the Redhawks improve to 2-10 on the season.
How It Happened: The Redhawks scored just thirty seconds into the game to take an early 1-0 lead. From there the Redhawks continued their offensive momentum scoring three more goals in the first half to make it 4-0 at halftime.
The Chargers were able to limit the Redhawks to just one second half goal defending several Redhawks attacks well.
By the Numbers: The Chargers were outshot 17-0 with 10 of those shots being on goal… the Chargers tallied five saves… the Redhawks had seven penalty corners… Mary Catherine Malon scored two goals for the visitors.
