The United East Conference announced the stage for the 2024 United East Women's Soccer Playoffs this weekend with the Lancaster Bible College Women's Soccer team coming in as the number six seed and will host the 11-seed Rosemont this Tuesday, October 29 at 6:00 p.m.
The Chargers finished the regular season 6-5-4 overall and 5-3 in conference play. They have won their past four of five games including a 1-0 win over Cedar Crest and 8-0 win over Penn St. Brandywine this past week. The Chargers are led by junior
Janae Bergey who has tallied a team-leading and season best 13 goals and three assists. Sophomore
Isabella Eufemia has scored a second best nine goals to go along with four assists. Freshman goalkeeper
Carissa Mulder has 70 saves on the season giving up two goals in the past five games.
Looking back at this year's matchup with the Rosemont Ravens, the Chargers beat the Ravens at home 7-0 in early October. Bergey and Eufemia both had two goals in that win.
"We are excited to kickoff the postseason campaign tomorrow night," said Head Coach
Jake Warren.
"The road will be tough! But we'll attack each challenge one game at a time and try to do something special."
The winner of Tuesday night's matchup will move on to travel to #3 St. Mary's (Md.) for a Quarterfinal matchup on Saturday, November 2.
