The United East Conference released their 2024 United East Volt Division Baseball Major Award Winners and All-Conference Selections. Baseball came away with five total honorees to cap off the 2024 season. The Chargers were led by First Teamers
Blake Greenly and
Dylan Witkowski and joined by senior
Brian Coburn, sophomore
Evan Sareyka, and junior
Harrison Hobdy on the Second Team ballot.

Greenly picked up his third straight First Team honors and fourth straight All-Conference honors to cap off a fantastic career for the Chargers. Consistency was the name of the game as the graduate student from Morgantown, Pa. hit an astounding .397 from the plate over the past five years. This past season he finished with a .388 batting average to go along with 45 runs, 37 runs batted in, 50 hits, and five home runs. Greenly sat amongst the top-ten of the conference in slugging percentage, on-base percentage, runs scored, walks, and stolen bases. Greenly was also named 2024 NCCAA Midwest All-Region First Team.

Witkowski was also honored as First Team, his second All-Conference nod in two years for the Chargers. A utility player, Witkowski did a little bit of everything for the Chargers, including hitting .378 from the plate with 42 hits and 34 runs batted in. He also accrued five wins on the mound this season, striking out 47 total batters. Witkowski also finds himself amongst the conference's top-ten in slugging percentage (.604) and OPS (1.079). Witkowski was also named 2024 NCCAA Midwest All-Region First Team.

With his fourth straight All-Conference selection, Coburn finished the year .293 from the plate with 40 runs, 24 runs batted in, and 36 hits. On the mound, Coburn grabbed two wins on 26 innings pitched and struck out 24 batters in the process, and at the shortstop position, Coburn led the infield with 41 putouts, 103 assists on .935 fielding percentage. Coburn also had a storied four-year career with the Chargers, tallying over 150 hits, 129 runs, 20 doubles, 12 wins on the mound, and was named the 2023 United East Pitcher of the Year.

Joining the Second Team for his first All-Conference bid is sophomoreÂ
Evan Sareyka. Sareyka finished the year with a .313 batting average, playing in all 39 games this season. He added 42 hits to go along with 32 runs batted in and 32 runs scored. Sareyka tallied five home runs and seven doubles. Sareyka also earned a spot on the 2024 NCCAA Midwest All-Region Second Team list.

Hobdy also earned his first All-Conference selection to the Second Team after a breakout season for the junior. Hobdy saw action in 37 total games this season with a .348 batting average and career-highs in runs batted in (30), hits (39), runs scored (26), and stolen bases (7). Hobdy also proved vital defensively at the first baseman slot, grabbing 229 putouts and 12 assists with just two errors on the season.
