Bergey Wins Player of the Year, Chargers Land Four on All-Conference

The United East Conference announced their Women's Soccer All-Conference and Major Award winners for the 2025 season on Thursday morning, with Lancaster Bible earning four selections to the All-Conference teams with one Major Award winner as senior Janae Bergey was named Player of the Year. In addition, Bergey was named to the United East First Team, with sophomore Zoe Beers earning Second Team honors while juniors Isabella Eufemia and Haley Moyer were each named Third Team selections. This is the Chargers' most selections (4) to the United East All-Conference release since 2021 and features two first-time selections in Beers (So.) and Moyer (Jr.).

Janae Cox earns her fourth All-Conference honor in four seasons with the Chargers, making it two First Team nods to go along with two Second Team selections. Janae joins Ally Brown (2011) and Monica Horning (2012) as the third player in program history to be named conference Player of the Year, registering a program-record 23 goals this season and currently tied for the national lead in NCAA Division III in scoring. Bergey had five games with three goals this season, the most hat-tricks in a single season in program history, scoring 13 goals just against United East opponents with hat-tricks against Wilson, Valley Forge, and Penn St. Brandywine. She added to her offensive production with five assists this season, with three coming in conference and one in the Chargers' Playoff Quarterfinal against Penn St. Berks. Janae tied the program record with 51 total points this season, matching Whitney Heise's mark set in 2012. Finishing out her career, Bergey ends with the fifth-most goals in program history with 38 and is one of 18 players all-time with at least 11 career assists, ranking sixth in the program with 87 total points.

Zoe Beers notched her first career All-Conference honor in her second season, earning Second Team honors. Zoe was a balanced attack in the midfield for the Chargers this year, amassing 23 total points as she scored seven goals and tallied a team-high nine assists. She tied for the United East lead in the regular season with nine assists and her 23 points ranked her tenth in the conference even after postseason play concluded. Beers had the most assists by a Charger in a single season since 2016 and had three multi-assist games this year, tallying six total assists against conference opponents. Zoe now sits in a tie for 14th in program history in assists.

Isabella Eufemia earns Third Team honors for her third career All-Conference selection, being named to the First Team each of her first two seasons. Bella managed two goals and two assists on the year with one of each in conference play, including the opening goal in a 5-0 win over Wilson and the game-winning assist against Penn St. Abington in a 5-2 victory. Eufemia sits in a tie for 14th-place in program history with 21 career goals, ranking 12th in total points as well with 54.

Haley Moyer garnered her first career All-Conference selection with Third Team honors this year, anchoring the Charger defense. She helped lead a Chargers back line that pitched six total shutouts this season, playing all 90 minutes 12 times this year. Haley was named Defensive Player of the Week for the first time this season and received her flowers this year for her outstanding defensive efforts all season long.

Across the United East, St. Mary's (Md.) junior Allie Petryszak was named Defensive Player of the Year, Penn College freshman Ella Garman earned Rookie of the Year honors, and Penn St. Harrisburg head coach Brandon West was recognized as Coach of the Year.
