The Lancaster Bible College Men's Basketball team hosted Ramapo in non-conference play on Wednesday night in the Horst Athletic Center, dominating early en route to a 92-64 victory. The Chargers improve to 4-0 overall while the Roadrunners drop to 1-3 overall.
 
How it Happened:
Right out of the gate, junior Connor Storr was clicking as he scored the first seven points for the Chargers with a made 3-pointer on the first possession and then a layup and two free throws. Then, it was senior Reaves Hooks who hit a three to force a timeout and junior Camden Hurst with a layup to cap a 14-0 opening run, keeping the Roadrunners off the board for the first five minutes of the game. Around the 12-minute mark of the half, Storr broke away for a loud dunk to ignite the crowd, then had another breakaway score 30 seconds later to make the lead 22-4 early on. Within the next minute, junior Trey Grube came off the bench and lit it up for back-to-back 3-pointers to push the lead over 20 points for the Chargers. Hurst kept up the scoring with an and-one layup then a breakaway in the paint, then Grube added two more buckets including a corner three to tie the largest lead of the half at 36 points. Senior Tyshaun Pulley had a pair of pull-up jumpers in the half as well, with the Chargers leading Ramapo 51-17 at the half.
 
Senior Nile Austin hit a corner three early on in the second half to get the lead back to 35 points, then senior Luke Rumbaugh and sophomore Bennett Bowers had a 3-pointer each to boost the lead past 40 points at 68-27 with over 14 minutes to play. Storr connected on another dunk, then Rumbaugh had a layup to give LBC their largest lead of the game at 44 points. Lots of Lancaster Bible players got in for the second half with contributions on offense, but Ramapo managed to cut into the deficit as the clock wound down to get it within 26 points at best. Junior Tyler Chapman knocked down a pair of threes late and the Chargers closed out a dominant home victory to improve to 4-0 on the season.
 
By the Numbers:
- The Chargers shot 51-percent from the floor, 44-percent from 3-point range, and shot 63-percent from the free throw line
- The Roadrunners shot 43-percent from the floor and 72-percent on free throws, but were held without a made 3-pointer, shooting 0-3 on the game
- Camden Hurst and Connor Storr each scored a game-high 16 points for the Chargers
- Trey Grube notched 11 points off the bench and shot 3-4 from beyond the arc
- Nile Austin and Luke Rumbaugh each scored in double-figures with 10 apiece

- The Roadrunners were led by Elijah Barlow with a team-high 13 points

Information to Know:
The Chargers have their first win over Ramapo all-time as they lost last year in Mahwah, N.J. to open the season, now 1-1 against the Roadrunners all-time. The Chargers have now beat two teams this season that were in their conference championship game last year, with Washington & Jefferson making the PAC title game and Ramapo losing in overtime in the NJAC title game in 2024-25. This is the first 4-0 start for the Chargers under head coach Jon Mack, with their last 4-0 start coming in 2015-16.
