The Lancaster Bible College Baseball team squared off against the Neumann Knights at home on Wednesday night falling 14-4. The Chargers are now 17-19 overall while the Knights improve to 20-8 overall.
How It Happened: The Knights got things started in the second inning as the scored three runs then added another four runs in the third inning taking a commanding 7-0 lead.
Dylan Witkowski put the Chargers on the board with a two-run homerun to left center making it a 7-2 deficit. The Knights proceeded to score seven more runs through the next two innings of play including four total homeruns in that spurt. A homerun from
Evan Sareyka in the sixth inning gave the Chargers another run while sophomore
Caleb Pucci brought in a run in the seventh inning but the Chargers would go on to lose 14-4.
