The Lancaster Bible College Men's Basketball team hosted Penn College on Wednesday evening for United East action, scoring a season-high in points in a dominant 117-63 victory. The Chargers improve to 14-4 overall and 6-0 in the United East while the Wildcats fall to 3-15 overall and 2-5 in the United East.
 
How it Happened:
The Wildcats jumped out to an early lead as they had a three, a layup, and two from the line for a 7-0 lead before Bennett Bowers (So.) got LBC started on a made 3-pointer. After a 10-4 Penn College lead, the Chargers scored nine in a row with two layups by Mark Heidebrecht (Sr.) and a made three by Jacob Lewis (Fr.) for their first lead of the game at 13-10. The Wildcats went back up by one, then the lead permanently belonged to the Chargers as they pulled ahead on an and-one made three by Trey Grube (Jr.) to light up the HAC for a 19-16 lead. The Chargers' lead became ten on a three by Nile Austin (Sr.), then Camden Hurst (Jr.) threw down a dunk on a fast-break to keep it that way. The back half of the first half was all Chargers as they went on a 15-point run powered by Hurst, Grube, and Heidebrecht buckets to propel the game out of reach. Hurst knocked down several threes for five total in the first half, sending LBC to half with a huge 63-34 advantage.
 
Hurst quickly added another five points to start the second half and Connor Storr (Jr.) drove for a layup, getting the lead up to 34 in the first two minutes. Daniel King (Jr.) then added a pair of buckets and Lewis finished an and-one layup, then Heidebrecht made three layups in the span of about a minute to get the deficit over 40 points at 85-44. A Grube 3-pointer capped a nine-point Charger run to reach 90 points, then a few minutes later Reaves Hooks (Sr.) hit a three to make it a 50-point game. The Chargers' bench shined in the final 10 minutes as players like Matt Johnson (Fr.) and Landon Zeiset (Fr.) got buckets to go, then Marco Cabezas (Jr.) got back-to-back scores off a steal. Micah gray (Fr.) hit a corner three and Doug Adiok (So.) scored the final bucket of the game as the Chargers wrapped up another dominant home victory to improve to 6-0 in conference play.
 
By the Numbers:
- The Chargers shot 53-percent from the floor, 42-percent from 3-point range, and shot 63-percent from the free throw line
- The Wildcats shot 46-percent from the floor, 27-percent from three, and 61-percent on free throws
- Camden Hurst led the Chargers with 26 points on 9-11 from the field, tying a career-high with five 3-pointers and adding six rebounds and six assists
- Mark Heidebrecht added 19 points off the bench for the third straight game, shooting 9-10 from the floor
- Trey Grube and Jacob Lewis added 14 and 13 points respectively
- The Wildcats were led by Peyton Murphy with a team-high 10 points off the bench

Information to Know:
The Chargers are now 22-0 all-time against Penn College, their most wins without a loss against a single opponent in program history. This is the Chargers' first 6-0 start in conference play since the 2017-18 season, beginning 14-0 that year before finishing 15-1 and winning the NEAC Championship. The Chargers' 117 points tonight were a season-high and the most points in regulation in the program's Division III history, trailing only their 2023 overtime game against Allegheny on November 10.
