The Lancaster Bible College Men's Basketball team had their second straight road game on Saturday afternoon as they traveled to Rosemont, picking up a ##-## victory. The Chargers improve to 17-6 overall and 9-2 in the United East while the Ravens fall to 3-16 overall and 2-9 in the United East.
How it Happened:
Rosemont had the first basket of the game before
Nile Austin (Sr.) hit a 3-pointer to give LBC the lead, then
Camden Hurst had back-to-back layups including an and-one for a three-point play, keeping LBC up by two at 8-6. The lead went to five as
Jacob Lewis (Fr.) knocked down a three less than a minute later, then Lewis kept it at five later on with a layup off an offensive board.
Connor Storr (Jr.) later threw down a dunk off a steal, then Storr lined up for a made three for a 20-13 Chargers lead. Lancaster Bible extended the lead to double-digits as
Daniel King (Jr.) scored eight in a row by himself, then Hurst had a pair of scores to cap a run of 12 unanswered points as they cruised to a 37-22 halftime advantage on the road.
The Ravens started the half strong with the first six points before Hurst got LBC on the second half board with a pair from the line. This began a run of seven straight for the Chargers as Storr hit a mid-range and an open three for a 16-point LBC lead. Rosemont hit a three to make it 50-36, then Austin and Storr each drove to the hoop for layups to get the lead to 19 points. The lead topped 20 as
Trey Grube (Jr.) hit a 3-pointer for a 22-point edge, then Storr kept it over 20 with two pairs of free throws. Storr and
Reaves Hooks (Sr.) capped it off with some made free throws as the Chargers got right with a big win on the road in conference play.
By the Numbers:
- The Chargers shot 46-percent from the floor, 29-percent from 3-point range, and shot 76-percent from the free throw line
- The Ravens shot 36-percent from the floor, 24-percent from three, and just 40-percent on free throws

Information to Know:
The Chargers are now 3-2 against Rosemont all-time and have taken the last three matchups against the Ravens, including two last season in United East play. This is the Chargers' lowest scoring victory of the season at 70 points and their first win of the season when scoring less than 80 points. This was the Chargers' tenth win of the season by 20+ points, the most in the United East this season. The Chargers held Rosemont to 35.8% from the field, their second-lowest opponent field goal percentage of the season and the lowest in United East play this year. The Chargers continue to lead the United East in scoring offense at 90.9 points per game, entering the day at 10th in all of NCAA Division III in scoring.
