How it Happened:

Next up was Grimm, hitting a two-run single to cap a four-run Chargers surge to lead after three. The Chargers added another in the 4th on a RBI-double by Evan Sareyka (Sr.), then the Gators cut into the lead with three runs in the bottom frame to make it 6-4 LBC. The next runs came in the top of the 6th on a two-run single by Boles, extending the LBC lead to four before the lead went to six in the 8th inning as Grimm drove in two more runs on a double to left center to get the Chargers to 10 runs. Notre Dame (Md.) got one back in the bottom of the 8th, then LBC hit right back with one in the 9th as Nate Rosenzweig (Jr.) hit a double to left field and closed the door in the bottom frame to secure United East win #10 for the season and a two-game sweep of the Gators.
