The United East Conference released their weekly award winners on Monday afternoon, with the Chargers earning one honor as Softball sophomore Keira Price was named Player of the Week for her performance. This is Price's first weekly honor of her career and the final United East weekly award of the season for Lancaster Bible.
 
Price powered the Chargers' offense in their final week of the regular season, batting for a .538 average across four games with seven total hits for Lancaster Bible. Keira showed off her strength at the plate this week, launching three total home runs with two doubles as well for five total extra-base hits, including a home run in three consecutive games this week with two at Wilson and one versus Penn St. Berks at home. She boasted a whopping 1.385 slugging percentage in four games this past week and leads the Chargers this season in slugging at .634, ranked 14th in the United East. Keira is also tied for second in the entire conference in home runs, hitting five so far this season and sitting one away from tying the LBC single-season record, also tied for fifth in program history in career home runs with seven. Price added six total runs batted in (RBI) this week along with seven runs scored, helping the Chargers to a 3-1 record to close out the season as they broke the program wins record with 20 and counting.
 
Price and the Chargers are locked into the #4-seed in the United East Championship and are set to host their first-ever home playoff series, welcoming #5-seed Penn St. Harrisburg on Friday, May 1 to begin a best-of-3 Second Round series starting at 3:00 p.m. where the Chargers will seek to advance to the United East Final Four the following weekend.
