The Lancaster Bible College Baseball team traveled to play Lebanon Valley in non-conference play on Wednesday afternoon, falling by a score of 19-5 in seven innings. The Chargers fall to 10-12 overall and 5-3 in the United East while the Flying Dutchmen improve to 11-16 overall and 6-6 in the MAC Freedom.

How it Happened:
The Flying Dutchmen immediately seized control of the game in the 1st inning as they scored 10 runs including seven walks. The Chargers got on the board in the 2nd as
Malachi Sloane (Jr.) launched a solo home run to left field, then after LVC matched that run in the bottom frame,
Evan Sareyka (Sr.) scored on a wild pitch to make it 11-2. Lebanon Valley kept pouring on as they scored five more runs in the 3rd, then after a scoreless 4th the Chargers got a few more runs to go. Sareyka came through with a double to score
Nate Rosenzweig (Jr.), then he scored on a groundout by
Dylan Witkowski (Sr.), then
Donavan Boles (So.) hit a double to right center and scored on a single by Sloane to cut the lead to 16-5. The Flying Dutchmen added two more in the 5th and one in the 6th, closing out the Chargers by 14 in the seventh to earn the home victory.

- The Chargers had five runs on 11 hits and four RBI with three errors, while the Flying Dutchmen had 19 runs on 15 hits and 18 RBI with no errors
