2024: Shaeffer played in all 36 matches her senior year after missing 2023 with an injury. She set a career-best with 405 total assists, reaching 20+ assists two times with a season-high 25 against Moravian on August 30. Shaeffer also added 37 service aces from behind the line and had 129 digs on the defensive end for the Chargers. Emma was named the United East Elite 20 Award winner for the season, representing the highest GPA of any United East postseason player, to cap off her career. She finished in the top-10 in program history in assists, ranking eighth all-time with 925 total assists.
2023: Did not play due to injury **
2022: Emma Shaeffer played in all 30 matches for the Chargers in 2022, starting two times and playing in all but one set. She helped orchestrate the offense when she was on the floor, dishing a total of 397 assists, the second-most for the Chargers and a vast improvement over last season's total. She also put the ball over the net well with 26 kills at a team best .329 hitting clip. Emma also had 20 service aces for the Chargers and recorded 127 digs on defense. Shaeffer connected on a season-high 26 assists two times, both in key wins over Moravian and Mount Aloysius. At the end of the season, Shaeffer was awarded the United East
Elite 14 Award for women's volleyball, which is given to the student-athlete with the highest GPA among the four teams that compete in the United East Playoffs.
2021: Shaeffer appeared in 13 matches for the Chargers during the 2021 season. In addition to three kills, she dished 123 assists, which was the second-most on the team. She also landed six service aces on the season. Defensively, Shaeffer had three receptions and grabbed 20 digs. Emma's best match of the season came against Wells on October 30 where she recorded 27 assists, four digs and two service aces.
