Maybe the Lancaster Bible men's tennis team should just play road matches.
The Chargers dropped to 0-3 at home this season as Eastern won four of the six singles matches to come back from a 2-1 deficit after doubles and defeated Lancaster Bible, 5-4. LBC is now 0-3 at home and perfect 3-0 on the road.
The doubles teams of
Alex Ko /
Jeremy Davis and
Dan Soden /
Tedd Holbrook got LBC on the board with wins during doubles, while Davis and Holbrook also won their singles matches. Davis, a senior, is 5-0 this spring. He hasn't dropped a set during the streak and has lost just six points in the 10 sets. Holbrook's win improves him to 3-1 this spring.
LBC's
Grant Noel fell just short in the match of the day as he lost to Tyler Schultz, 6-2, 5-7, 6-4.
The Chargers (3-3) return to the court next Thursday when they travel to take on Bryn Athyn at 4 p.m.
