Lancaster Bible Trounces Keuka,, 8-1

The Lancaster Bible men's tennis team opened North Eastern Athletic Conference play with a win on Friday, defeating Keuka, 8-1 at Linden Hall School in Lititz, Pa. 

The Chargers (5-3, 1-0 NEAC) swept all three doubles matches to open the match and cruised to five of the six singles wins as well. Grant Noel, Alex Ko, Dan Soden, Jeremy Davis and Tedd Holbrook each won a doubles and singles match for the Chargers. Ko won his number two singles match, 6-1, 6-0, while Noel, Davis, Soden and Holbrook all won, 6-0, 6-0.

Davis continues his historic run as he is now 7-0 this spring, while Holbrook, just a freshman, is 5-1. Ko is also 5-1 this season, while Soden snapped a four-match losing streak to improve to 3-4 this spring.

LBC is back in action on Tuesday when they take on Penn St. Berks in Reading, Pa. at 3:30 p.m.
