The Lancaster Bible men's tennis team lost for the second straight day as Rutgers-Camden defeated the Chargers, 7-2 at Linden Hall School in Lititz, Pa.
Lancaster Bible junior
Alex Derus earned one of the two team points at number one singles as he defeated Terry Long, 6-4, 2-6, 10-7.
Dan Soden and
Tedd Holbrook earned the other Chargers point as they defeated Onkar Sing and Aaron Goldenburg at number two doubles, 8-5.
Senior
Alex Ko lost a tough match at number two singles as he fell, 4-6, 7-6 (7-4), 10-2 for the Chargers, while
Chandler Gillman lost at number five singles, 6-2, 6-2.
The Chargers (2-5, 0-2 NEAC) return to the court on Wednesday when they host Penn St. Berks at 3 p.m. That match will also take place at Linden Hall School.
